On the morning of September 23, the Party branch of Luzhi Tourism Company organized an event on building a clean and honest government. All party members and prospective party members attended, with the event chaired by Hu Meizhen, secretary of the Party branch.
First, the attendees watched the documentary “Style of Work: A Journey That Never Ends,” which highlights how the Party Central Committee, with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, has upheld the principle of exercising strict Party self‑governance and governing the Party with rigor, formulated the Eight‑Point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct, set an example from the top down, and achieved tangible results in strengthening Party conduct. From the perspective of disciplinary inspection and supervision bodies, the film reflects the practical efforts to implement the spirit of the Central Committee’s Eight‑Point Decision and resolutely rectify the “Four Undesirable Trends.”
Next, Hu Meizhen called on all attendees to study the content of the televised documentary carefully and gain a deep understanding of it, further strengthening the “Four Consciousnesses,” firmly bolstering the “Four Confidences,” and upholding the “Two Safeguards.” Finally, Hu Meizhen emphasized that improving work style is neither empty rhetoric nor mere wishful thinking; all Party members and cadres in the branch must attach great importance to this effort, lead by example, set an exemplary standard, and play a pioneering and model role. They must strictly implement the CPC Central Committee’s Eight-point Decision on Improving Party and Government Conduct, and resolutely address the “Four Undesirable Trends”—formalism, bureaucratism, hedonism, and extravagance.
