Hong Kong film star Siu Fong-fong, through the Wuzhong District Foreign Affairs Office and the Wuzhong District Overseas Chinese Affairs Office, donated to the Luzhi Ancient Town a collection of her awards—trophies and medals—as well as various physical artifacts and photographic materials, totaling fourteen items. This donation has not only enriched the holdings of the Siu Fong-fong Film and Art Museum but has also added a new highlight to Luzhi Ancient Town’s tourism offerings.
The Xiao Fangfang Film and Art Museum is located on Zhongshi Street in the ancient town of Luzhi, also known as the Xiao Residence. Built in 1889, it is the best-preserved Qing‑dynasty residential building still standing in the town and was once owned by Xiao Fangfang’s grandfather. In the 1990s, a dedicated “Xiao Fangfang Film and Art Museum” was established within the residence, showcasing her artistic journey, achievements, and social activities. The museum also displays photographs, images, and artifacts from her career—all generously provided by Xiao Fangfang herself—making it an invaluable resource for studying her artistic life.
Siu Fong-fong is a renowned Hong Kong film actress who currently resides in Hong Kong. She made her screen debut at the age of six and has since appeared in over 200 films. She has won both the Best Actress award at the Spanish Film Festival and the Hong Kong Film Award for Best Actress. Her outstanding performance in the film “Women on the Verge” earned her the prestigious Golden Bear for Best Actress at the Berlin International Film Festival, bringing great honor to her homeland.
